Although these trims are great, they could have used some better integration when it comes to software and features. Whereas Mercedes and BMW offer massaged seats in their base model GLE’s and X5’s. What I found odd was that if you wanted massaged seats, you would have to get an Autobiography, which starts $11,000 more than the HSE Dynamic for only massaged seats and different moving seats with the same engine. These trims are the best driving trims out of all of the various trims with more than enough power. I have test driven every Sport model aside from the diesels and hybrids and kept going back to test drive the 2021 HST V6, 2021 HSE Dynamic V8 and the Autobiography V8. Although the Sport is a great vehicle, I recommend the full sized Range Rover instead of the Sport, it is pricier, but it is worth every penny with its way more luxurious ride and features. The Range Rover Sport is truly one of a kind, it is a perfectly sized vehicle with great driving dynamics. I can assure you, we'll have a good time reaching that conclusion and we'll let you know when we figure it out! After a few months the jury's still out on which is the better vehicle. This Discovery is a fantastic vehicle!! Love it so much, I decided to get a brand new Defender. Now we're well aware of issues with LR's and most every expensive seems to run with the territory. Regular oil changes and routine maintenance, that's it. Everything works well and after putting many miles on the odometer it's begging for more.
We've taught 2 kids to drive in this car. Now it's mostly used day to day in town, hauling kids to and from school and sports and driving to work. The Disco handles like a sports car and has a very tight turning radius (can make an easy u-turn on most streets). The Windsor Leather interior is very stylish, functional and comfortable. Our LR Discovery HSE delivered flawlessly. On road we drove it very high speed on lonely freeways in western states. We drove the vehicle more than 300 miles off-road, over desert sand, small rocks, big rocks, Jeep Roads, and 3 remote mountain passes over 12,000 feet. I purchased this one CPO 2 years ago and took it on a major family road trip, spanning over 4 months and 11 states. We have 3 other LR's in the family fleet as well as Toyotas and Subarus. An honest dealership with honest employees? I bought the car on the spot and will return tomorrow to pick up the car. They would need to order the parts and would have the veh ready the next day. It turned out they needed to replace the shocks and bearings.
Another 10 minutes later they returned and told me they went back to their shop and raised the car to locate the issue. Came back after 10 minutes and one of them switched and sat in the back seat. He got their mechanics and 2 of them went for a drive. When I returned, I told Art about the noise and warning light on. We did and found some mild noise coming from the passenger side wheels. Let us go on a test drive and said “take your time”.
Car was just as advertised, and salesperson Art was completely no-stress and straight forward. Was skeptical, because it’s not a mainstream brand dealership. Attracted to this dealer by their inventory and prices.
